# Minecraft preview asset provenance Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, extracted from the user's installed client. Client SHA-256: `1473c9489ac50fda3c435049a76a70d61a10b8610db27f5ba9d8756b686cd3bd`. Original artwork and model data belong to Mojang / Microsoft; these are not original Block Library assets and are not covered by this project's MIT notice. Regenerate with `python scripts/build-block-textures.py /path/to/1.21.11.jar` (Pillow required). The generator makes no network requests and includes no game executable. The atlas contains native block textures and chest entity sheets. `frontend/block-models.json` preserves native blockstates, inherited model elements, face UVs, rotations, and tint indices. Missing face UVs use the game's default coordinates. Animation uses the first listed frame; biome tints are fixed by the viewer. Native face pixels remain untinted so only faces with a tint index receive color. The data includes 1,168 native blockstate definitions plus the legacy chain alias. All inherited JSON block models are available, including stairs, slabs, fences, walls, plants, chains, and brewing stands. Chests use native single/double entity sheets with the viewer's cuboid geometry. Java's block entities without JSON elements (including signs, beds, banners, heads, shulker boxes, and decorated pots) retain fallback geometry. Water and lava use their still texture; invisible blocks remain invisible. Animation, biome selection, and custom resource packs are not fully reproduced. Provenance and attribution do not establish redistribution permission. See [Minecraft Usage Guidelines](https://www.minecraft.net/usage-guidelines) and [Minecraft EULA](https://www.minecraft.net/eula); the repository's earlier asset-rights review remains an unresolved distribution consideration.
